Indeed, familial structure has undergone a tremendous shift over the past half century as mothers went to work, fathers held two jobs and children were left to learn right and wrong from the television. Abuse, neglect and incompetent parenting methods represent several significant reasons why adolescents may be pushed toward criminal activity. In order to do that the Uniform Crime Report, which has been in place since the 1940's we will need the number of crimes reported to the police, the crimes cleared by arrest, and the age, gender race of offender, and also use crimes reported by victims and the socio-demographics of victims.
