The Case Against Forced Military Anthrax Vaccination
[ send me this paper ]
A 22 page paper evaluating the
validity of the Department of Defense's staunch support for mandatory anthrax vaccinations of all members of the US armed forces. The paper gives an overview of the disease and Louis Pasteur's discovery of a vaccination against it. It reviews conditions surrounding other controversial health
issues and concludes that, given the military's history of direct lack of consideration for the well being of troops or civilians in the Cold War years, its reluctance to accept any responsibility for Agent Orange consequences and its absolute denial that Gulf War Syndrome exists at all, troops would be wise to resist accepting the vaccine until Congress can manage to withdraw all funding
for the project. Antibiotic treatment is highly effective when diagnosis is early. The paper favors abandoning the vaccination project completely. Bibliography lists 21 sources.
