Zen Buddhism

Buddhism is different among the Chinese, Japanese and Americans.
Although the word “Zen” is Japanese and though Japan is now its
home, Zen Buddhism is the creation of T'ang dynasty China. In
Buddhism, there are degrees of enlightenment and the enlightened
one can move from realm to realm and world to world yet is at
home in each. Progress in the practice of Zen is a transformation
in the manner in which one sees the world.
